Bending, Folding and Curved Forming of Architectural Aluminium
Architectural Aluminium panels are rarely used as untouched flat sheets. Corners, flashings, column wraps, folded planes and curved interfaces require bending, folding, grooving or controlled curved forming, so fabrication compatibility should be considered during design.

Thickness, surface treatment and construction method directly affect the result. An overly tight bend radius may affect surface integrity, while unsuitable grooving can reduce edge quality and installation accuracy. Curved work also requires coordination of panel size, substructure and fixing.

Fabrication is not a late-stage operation but part of design and material selection. When surface effect, specification and forming method are considered together, architectural Aluminium can move more reliably from intended expression to built result.
